A quick search for men aged 35-47 within 50 miles of New York City yielded 200 personals with pictures. If you want to search by more than location, you'll need to register. Contacting users is easy and confidential. Too busy to look around yourself? Try Venus, the Roman goddess of love (okay, actually an algorithm), that will search compatible descriptions and e-mail you the most promising matches. Click on MatchTravel for singles trips like hiking in Provence or biking in Cuba. Or MatchEvents for regional activities like ballroom dancing in San Francisco.
